Cooling Tower Service, Refurbishment & Component Replacement

We provide comprehensive on-site service and major component replacement for industrial cooling towers, including waste heat recovery (WHR) systems and process cooling towers. Our scope covers everything from high-pressure cleaning through to full internal refurbishment and commissioning.

All work is carried out in accordance with manufacturer guidelines, applicable SANS standards, and the client's site health and safety requirements. We are structured to execute projects with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Scope of Work

1 Isolate and drain the unit
2 Unpack eliminators and louvers; high-pressure (HP) clean
3 HP clean entire unit internally and externally
4 Inspect entire cooler for corrosion, cracks, and deterioration
5 Inspect drives and adjust if necessary; remove scale from fans
6 Check and adjust basin level; HP clean the strainer
7 Unblock and clean nozzles and distribution pipes
8 Grease bearings, shafts, and all mechanical parts
9 Remove old fill media and transport to an approved landfill site
10 Supply and install new TB27 cross-flow fill pack
11 Supply and install DN40 cooling tower nozzles
12 Supply and install drift eliminators
13 Commission all installed components and conduct performance verification
